You've heard her songs of the 2024 summer, "Please Please Please" and "Espresso." But Sabrina Carpenter has been on the entertainment scene for much longer than that. The 25-year-old pop star got her start on the Disney Channel show "Girl Meets World" in 2014, starring as the protaganist's best friend, Maya Hart. Like many Disney Channel actors before her, Carpenter launched her music career off the back of her leading television role, signing with Hollywood Records. Her debut single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" was followed by four studio albums: Eyes Wide Open (2015), Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018), and Singular: Act II (2019).
At the same time, Sabrina was still acting for films and TV shows, like The Hate U Give (2018) and Tall Girl (2019). She then moved to Island Records and released her fifth and sixth studio albums, Emails I Can't Send (2022) and Short n' Sweet (2024). It was these most recent two albums that brought Carpenter to widespread fame. Singles like "Nonsense" and "Feather" charted in the Billboard top-10, and Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift on a 2023 leg of her Eras Tour.
Since then, Sabrina has taken the stage at Coachella, topped the charts with "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," and embarked on a tour that creates viral TikTok moments day in and day out. We can't wait to see what she does next!

Sabrina got her start in a home studio built by her father. She uploaded singing videos to YouTube at the young age of 10, and placed 3rd in a singing competition run by Miley Cyrus. Carpenter calls Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé her largest influences. Early in her career, she voice acted on TV shows Sofia the First and Milo Murphy's Law. She is an ambassador for the pediatric health-focused Ryan Seacrest Foundation, and has supported the LGBTQ+ community with charity projects and collaborations.
